Single Vehicle Accident Closes Route 133
Independent Fire Co. #13, October 04
At 8:25 pm Mt. Kisco Fire was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with possible extrication on Route 133 near Crow Hill Rd. Engine 106 & Utility 13 responded from Station #3. First arriving units found a single car accident that snapped two utility poles. The single occupant of the car was transported by Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Westchester Medical Center.... (Full Story & Photos)

Car into Structure on Brookside Ave
Independent Fire Co. #13, October 04
Engine 106, Utility 13 and other Mt Kisco Fire Department Units responded to Brookside Ave for a vehicle into a structure. Arriving units found an unattended vehicle that rolled down the hill, across the grass, thru the garden into the corner of a garage and then down an embankment. Luckily there were no injuries. Single Vehicle Accident
Independent Fire Co. #13, August 21
.. On 8/20 @ 5:33pm Engine 106, Utility 13 and other MKFD Units were dispatched to the SMRP Northbound in the area of Exit 34 (Route 133) for an MVA with car smoking. Arriving units found a single car accident were the vehicle slide along the guardrail for over 200 feet. No fire or injuries were found. FD stood by until the vehicle was removed.... Car Fire in the Garage, Sparks 3rd Alarm Fire

... On Sunday July 21st @ 1:04pm the Mount Kisco Fire Department was dispatched to a car fire in the garage on Carlton Dr in The Chase Complex. First arriving West. Co Police Unit reported a fully involved car in the garage. Due to the size of the structure, deep seated fire in the basement and hot humid weather. The fire quickly went to a 3rd Alarm. Background:
The Independent Fire Company is an all-volunteer fire company with approximately 65 members. The company is one of four that make up the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. The other three companies are the Union Hook & Ladder Co #1, the Mutual Engine & Hose Co #1 and the Mount Kisco Rescue & Fire Police.
The Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department covers approximately 3 square miles, half of which in the Town / Village of Mount Kisco proper, and the other half is made up of sections of the Town of New Castle and the Town of Bedford. The M.K.F.D. protects a population of approximately 18,000 people.
