Leonard Park Teahouse Fire

.. At 5:10pm on April 17th the MKFD was dispatched for a structure fire at 1 Wallace Drive. Engine 105, Engine 106 & Utility 13 responded from Stations #3 along with other MKFD Units. Asst Chief Zaccari (2282) was first on scene. He advised responding units that he had visible smoke and fire coming from under the Teahouse decking. The crew from Engine 105 quickly stretched an 1.75 line and knocked the main body of fire down. Other crews worked on the extensive overhaul, opening up the decking. Fire damage was limited to the decking around the Teahouse. All units cleared the scene at 8:05pm
