IFCO and HOOKS Train on Master Streams
By Junior Member James Tipa, Jr
September 15, 2009
On Tuesday September 15th the members of the IFCO and the Hook and Ladder companies trained together at Leonard Park for a drill on Master Streams. In this drill Engine 105 drafted water from a nearby stream and supplied a hose that ran up Ladder 43 and to a master stream at the end of the ladder. This drill brings both companies together and emphasizes teamwork and communication between fire fighters at a fire scene. This drill also works on quickly and effectively setting up a master stream operation.
Units:
Car 2283, E105, E106, TL14, L43
