Mount Kisco FAST and E-106 Respond To All Hands Chappaqua Fire
By Lieutenant Jan Johannessen
August 13, 2009
On July 31, 2009, the Mount Kisco Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched to a working house fire in Chappaqua. Upon arrival, heavy fire was visible from the garage and second floor. Members of the FAST immediately went to work and assisted Chappaqua with advancing lines to the body of the fire on the second floor and attic area. E-106 was also dispatched to the scene for additional manpower. Thanks to an aggressive attack, more than 2/3 of the house was saved.
