MKFD Fife and Drum Corp. Competes at GDADACA

On May 3rd the Mount Kisco Fire Department Ancient Fife and Drum Corp. competed at GDADCA (Greater Danbury Area Drum Corp. Assosiation) competition. The Corp. has had a very successful past at the competition and was successful again this year. The competition results for this year were as follows:

This first group is qualified for the North Eastern Championship in September:

Fife - Individual Female - 1st place - Katie Tipa

Snare - Duet - 1st place - Julian Haddad & Brian Maroti

Drum - Quartet - 1st place - Julian Haddad, Michael Johnston, Brian Maroti & James Tipa

Fife - Individual Male - 2nd place - David Weiss

Snare - Individual - 2nd place - Brian Maroti

This next group is not quallified for the North Eastern Competition but worked very hard and scored very well in the competition:

Fife Duet - 3rd place - Katie Tipa & David Weiss

Drum Duet - 3rd place - Michael Johnston & James Tipa

Bass Individual - 3rd place - James Tipa
