Annual Santa Rides
By Asst. Engineer Jon Pucila
December 13, 2008
On Saturday, December 13, 2008 the Independents, along with the rest of the Mount Kisco Fire Department hosted their annual Santa Rides. While loading kids onto the trucks we were interrupted by a call of smoke showing from the roof at the Mount Kisco Municipal Hall. The department responded, corrected the problem, and returned to the park to resume festivities. At around 10:20 we departed from the park for a trip around town and to our destination of the American Legion where kids had the opportunity to meet with Santa. There were also warm drinks, live entertainment, and other goodies.
