They Call'em "Farber's Fire Eaters"
By Lieutenant Jan Johannessen
July 26, 2008
Our very own Irv Farber spent his two week vacation at the Westchester County Fire Training Center completing the Firefighter 1 instructional class. At age 67, Irv impressed us all with his willingness to take the class. With little surprise, those taking the class took a liking to Irv and quickly coined his group's name, "Farber's Fire Eaters." Members of the Independents brought E-105 to the final Firefighter 1 class this past Thursday to check out Farber's Fire Eaters in action. Congratulations to Irv for completing the class!
