2nd Alarm Fire rips through Antiques Shop

On the morning of January 28, 2008, @ 0929 hrs the Mount Kisco Fire Department was dispatched to 342 Lexington Avenue for a report of smoke on the second floor. Upon arrival battalion, 16 transmitted a 1075 working fire. There was heavy fire on the first floor with extension to the second floor. Car 2284 quickly bumped up the assignment to a 2nd alarm. The fire was knocked down by the interior crews, with minimal damage to the rear of the first floor, and the second floor. One Mount Kisco firefighter was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital, and treated for minor smoke inhalation. All units were returned to service shortly after 1300 hrs.
