By Firefighter James Tipa, Jr
May 2, 2011
Please join us in congratulating the following Mount Kisco Ancients Fife & Drum Corps members that won medals at the Greater Danbury Area Drum Corps Association competition held today:
Katie Tipa - 1st Place - Female Fife Individual
David Weiss & Katie Tipa - 1st Place - Fife Duet
Teddy Lombardo - 1st Place - Snare Drum Individual
Stephen Rivera - 1st Place - Bass Drum Individual
James Tipa & Stephen Rivera - 2nd Place - Drum Duet
Thanks to Aaron Sevillano for assisting the Corps during the National Anthem, we received a lot of comments on how great you all sounded and looked.
And, as always, thanks to Jim & Patti Tipa and Ron & Anna Rivera for providing lunch, beverages & shelter (happily from the sun & warm weather today).
-President of the MKFD Ancients Fife and Drum -Ann Boles-DeModna
