Members Participate in Vehicle Extrication Drill
By Captain Jan Johannessen
April 25, 2010
Members of the Mount Kisco Fire Department attended a three day drill that focused on vehicle extrication and victim rescue. On Monday April 19th and again on April 21st, members attended a lecture hosted by a NYS certified instructor. On Saturday April 24th, skills were put to the test during an all-day live training exercise. Six cars were donated and members were able to use a variety of tools to cut, pry and tear their way into the cars.
