Cleanup for MKFD Inspection
By Firefighter James Tipa, Jr
March 25, 2010
On Thursday night March 25th the members of IFCO held cleanup at the station for the department inspection on March 27th. For the past week and a half the members and officers have completed tasks from cleaning out every compartment on each of the trucks to washing down the apparatus room floor. The members have sanded down tools, repainted them, and have washed and waxed the trucks. All this preparation is for the inspection where the trucks of THE SWARM and the units from the other companies of the MKFD will be on display for our local dignitaries and invited guests from local fire departments. The members have put in a lot of work this past week and it defiantly shows. A special thanks to all that gave their time for cleanup. A job well done by all.
