On Tuesday January 2, 2024, The Independent Fire Company celebrated Frank Mannion's for 50 years of service in the company.

Frank joined the Independent Fire Company is December 1973. Frank is a second-generation firefighter. He follows in his father's (Frank Mannion Sr.) footsteps.

Over the past 50 years, Frank has held the following positions:

Captain 1982 - 1984
Chief 1992 - 2006
President 2008 - 2010
Commissioner 2010 - Present

Frank was presented with his 50-year credentials by President Eric Hartmann. Frank's family and many friends were in attendance to join in the celebration.
