It is with deep sadness that we report the sudden passing of 71 Year Member, Ex-Captain, Ex-President Paul J. Hughes on Thursday November 23, 2023. Paul joined the company in January 1952 along with his twin brother Pete. Paul held the position of Captain from 1968 to 1970 and President from 1976 to 1978. Paul was very active in the company and was considered to be the hydrant man in his later years ensuring that there was water to the pumper.
