Last Sunday November 6th E-105 and U-13 were dispatched for a large area brush fire. The fire at 300 So. Bedford road involved wood piles and leaves on the ground. High winds and extremely dry conditions lead to rapid extension of the fire area. Engine 105 was located on a hydrant filling tankers. Utility 13 went to the scene with manpower. On Saturday November 12th U-13 FAST was dispatched to #5 Friars Close for a working fire. The fire involved the kitchen area with minor extension. BHFD engine crews provided a quick knock down of the fire.
