On Thursday April 21st at 12:30 PM MKFD was dispatched for a fire at 1 Wallace Drive, (Leonard Park) The fire was located on the rear decking of the tea house/pagoda. On arrival 2283 reported fire in the rear. Engine 105 was first due despite the (siren malfunction) while in route. Two 1-3/4" lines were stretched on arrival and water was quickly on the fire. Engine 104 setup a draft from the pond and supplied additional water. No injuries were reported and the damage was contained to the exterior decking of the building.
