President Richard Alexander, a local talented artist hosted the art school. Rich has served many with his artistic work, Graphics with his sign business, our head table in the meeting room, and recent repairs to utility 13. Rich also hosted his renderings at the Mount Kisco Library in the fall. The students traveled from across the country, the renowned instructor Joe Paquet (link below) spent one week with Rich and the other students. The class also traveled to the art gallery of local resident William Louis Dreyfus (link below) on Kisco Avenue. The class received the full tour of the gallery with Mr. Dreyfus in attendance. It was impressive to view the artists progress throughout the week. The attending artists were very impressed with the firehouse. They commented on all the hard work the members have put into the quality of the house. It was great to see all the works of the artists, and be recognized for all our dedication as volunteers.
