Early in the morning on Sunday October 5th the Independents were toned out for an MVA at Terrace Place & Main Street. On arrival of Engine 105 crews found a car which had collided into an electronic signboard for the paving on Route 133. The car lost control heading South on Main St. making contact with the sign and flipping it on its top. In the process 6 car batteries were launched from the sign leaving battery acid all over the road. The driver and passenger were uninjured in the crash and the Independents applied speedy dry (absorbent) to the fluids in the roadway until flatbeds came to remove the vehicle and signboard.
