| On a quiet Saturday afternoon, several members of the company began formulating an idea to honor our much beloved Engine 106. The old E106 was sold to our new friends, The Donaldson Fire Company of Donaldson, PA. It was decided that after a work detail, the empty bay where 106 lived for so many years needed to be addressed. Knowing well that the new 106 was just weeks away, but having to live with loss of the old girl, it just became too much for Jon & Brian. The engineers decided that with some spare parts and a little creative ingenuity, a tribute to 106 would be created. Just two hours of intense collaboration and TRUCK 13 was unveiled. Another hour of testing and the new truck was put into service. Although TRUCK 13 has limited capabilities she was created with dedication and love of the fire services. Additional thanks to Ray, Maria and Pete for the contributions and testing of the trucks systems Respectfully Submitted Pete Pioppo
