Structure Fire St. Mark's Place

On Sunday, April 29th at 10:54 am, the MKVFD was dispatched to a unknown type fire at 32 St. Mark's Place. Car 2284 was the first to arrive on scene and immediatley declared a 10-75 for this alarm. Car 2281 arrived and began size up and directing apparatus placement and crews. E-105 tied into the hydrant across from the structure and placed 4 hand lines into operation and 1 supply line to E-104. TL-14 nosed up to E-105 and placed their ladder into operation for ventilation. E-103 backed up St. Mark's Place ready to stretch out to a hydrant if needed. TL-57 arrived and staged as the fast team. Chappaqua arrived and became the fast team and the TL-57 crew was put to work. MKVAC was on scene along with the American Red Cross to help the displaced families. Millwood, Ossining and Yorktown provided stand by for this alarm.
