| On the evening of Friday July 9th not to long after the MKFD Parade the MKFD was diapatched to respond with our FAST Team (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) to a working fire at 91 Hickory Lane in Bedford. On arrival of the first incoming units the house was fully involved with flames and only a couple of walls were standing. Incident Command put together a tanker shuttle and over 6200 ft. of 5-inch hose since the driveway to the structue was very long and narrow. Two firefighters were transported to the hospital for minor heat related injuries. The fire was extinguished at around 11:30 PM. The fire is under investegation of the Cause and Origin Team.
