On the evening of July 1st the MKFD marched in the annual Mamaroneck Fire Department Parade. This year the MKFD actually marched as the Town of Bedford. This group consisted of the Bedford Hills FD, Bedford Village FD, Katonah FD, and the Mount Kisco FD. There was a wonderful turnout for the parade and trophy's were won by the department. The Mount Kisco FD Ancient Fife and Drum proved very succesful as usual winning Best Fife and Drum, 2nd Best Musical Colorguard, and Best Drum Majorette which was Breeda Mannion. Also the MKFD recently marched in the Armonk Fire Department's 80 Anniversary Parade where the Independents brought home Best Engine (Engine 106). As always a wonderful job by the MKFD Ancients, our engineers, and all that come down to help. A great job as always!
