On Monday Morning March, 15th the MKFD FAST Team was dispatched Mutual Aid to Mount Pleasant for a working fire. The fire was located at 4 Laurel Hill Drive in the Town of Mount Pleasant in the Usonia neighborhood. The home was designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The home had no power due to the recent storm and the fire was believed to have started accidentally by burning candles. The homeowner and his daughter were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Upon arrival of the fire department there was no water source causing delay to extinguishing the blaze. Sadly the home was completely destroyed by fire.
