IFCO celebrates another 70 Years of Service!

On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, the Independent Fire Company honored John (Jack) A. Marshall Jr. who celebrated 70 years of active service with IFCO. Jack’s family along with Town, County and State dignitaries were invited to attend the celebration.

Jack was honored by his fellow fire company members. He also received numerous plaques and proclamations from Mayor Gina Picinich, New York State Senator Peter Harckham, Westchester County Legislator Kitley S. Covill, Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman’s Association Director Robert Outhouse and Westchester County Volunteer Fireman’s Association Director Angela Outhouse.

Mayor Gina Picinich declared February 5, 2019 as John A. Marshall Jr. day in Mount Kisco.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer declared Saturday, February 9, 2019 John A. Marshall Jr, Day in the County.

After the festivities, a dinner was held in Jack’s honor.

It was a privilege to celebrate IFCO’s 2nd 70 year member with Jack and his family.
