On Sunday January 13th at 3:49 PM Chappaqua FD was dispatched to #2 Sutton Farm Drive. The original dispatch was for a fire on the roof. While in route CFD chief transmitted a 1075 due to the Plume of smoke. On arrival fire was showing on the roof around the chimney. The fire advanced extremely fast due to the wood shingle roof. TL-27 took the driveway engine 144 stretched 5" to the hydrant. PFD Engine 91 & MKFD Engine 105 assisted with water supply and manpower. Despite interior attack efforts, the fire destroyed the majority of the roof. Unfortunately the house sustained heavy damage. No injuries were reported, all units were returned to quarters at 6:00 PM. On Monday at 8:00 AM Engine 105 was dispatched for a minor rekindle .
