Company honors it's 1st 70 year Member

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, the Independent Fire Company honored George N. Rubin who celebrated 70 active years with IFCO. George’s family along with Town, County and State dignitaries were invited to attend the celebration.

George was honored by his fellow fire company members. He also received numerous plaques and proclamations from New York State Assemblyman David Buchwald, New York State Senator Dr. Terrence P. Murphy, Westchester County Legislator Kitley S. Covill and Westchester County Volunteer Fireman’s Association President Robert Outhouse.

Mayor Gina Picinich declared September 4, 2018 as George N. Rubin day in Mount Kisco.

After the festivities, a dinner was held in George’s honor.

It was a privilege to celebrate IFCO’s 1st 70 year member with George and his family.
