On Sunday May 21st 3:00 PM Chappaqua Fire Department was dispatched to smoke in the structure 16 Bessel Lane. Additional updates reported fire in the house. Upon Arrival Car 2061 transmitted 1075 and reported fire through the roof. First due TL-27 stretched a 5" line from the hydrant. Later to be tied in by tanker-9. TL-27 went to work with a master stream from the bucket, due to the heavy fire load. Car 2061 stated to all units this is an exterior attack. Engine 144 and Engine 105 stretched 5" hose in relay to a larger hydrant main on Whippoorwill Road. unfortunately there was heavy fire damage to the roof and second floor. No reported injuries, all units returned to quarters by 8:00 PM
