Hughes Twins Honored for Military Service

On Thursday, November 17, 2016, Senator Terrence P. Murphy held the 2016 Veterans’ Hall of Fame Ceremony to honor 17 War Veterans in the Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. The ceremony was held at the American Legion in Mount Kisco.
Among the veterans honored for their service were Paul J. Hughes and Peter W. Hughes who were both in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Both Paul & Pete are active 64 year members of the Independent Fire Company.
